Its a nice quality 355 test pipes for good price, make sure they offer warranty on the test pipes. I would use it if I had 355 :D

I bought this exact set for my 1995 355 Spider and can report the following:

    1. The test pipes are approximately 1 inch longer than OEM cats. (see pic) This made them a very tight fit, even after adjusting my Tubi. They will NOT easily slide off and on.
    2. I had a problem inserting the thermocouple on the left side. It would NOT go in all the way. I had to drill the hole out, then it fit.
    3. They will make your car very smelly if you drive a spider.
    4. All the above was F....... worth it-the car sounds amazing and spits fire at high RPM gear changes-Priceless!

The 1995 will not trip the check engine light with test pipes, I think there are issues with 1996+ models. Performance gain is probably minimal, but the aural excitement factor is off the charts-ala F1 sound! Also, I did notice that there is less heat coming from the engine bay with the test pipes.

When you have test pipes, do you just re-install the old cats when it's time for registration emissions check?

The test pipes definitely won't pass an emission inspection, so you'd have to swap the cats back in for inspection. It's a bit of work, but the upside is you have fresh cats every time you do an inspection!
