Thad, without your efforts this thread would die. Its a shame cause there are a lot of nice cars hidden away up here not to mention the people crossing the border. I've seen a lot but just don't mention them... but over the weekend on a gorgeous Saturday, red 430 with WI plates from LFSC zipping down rt. 14.
Thank you very much for the comment, I must say that Andy is a frequent contributor as well. I'm not going to lie, it is depressing to log on and see nothing going on in this region, sometimes for days on end. Maybe it's just me but it seems like i'm seeing a lot more f-cars and exotics in general this year.
The reason I ask is that I live minutes away from Lake Geneva. My folks in the NW burbs so the roads of rt 12 and 14 I am on often when visiting. Over the weekend I see many cars either going for joy rides to their lake homes or just for fun. Even on the side picking up fast food you'll see such cars like a 512tr, TR, 360s, 430s and old and new Gallardos with a variety of plates. In local town body shops in the NW burbs of Illinois I have seen a few 308s with WI tags. Never stop to bother, only half wave back even when they see me in mine on the road. The younger crowd seems more friendly and I already know I look goofy... you pretty much carry WI. You may have to nab the Cheesehead hat as your crown as King Thad.
today a red 3X8 on the lake front about 6pm a yellow lamborghini diablo at ultimate truck on hwy 100 yesterday a silver porsche gt2 on hwy 100 and beloit
I'll have to get a cheesehead and mount a cavallino on it, that way everyone will see me! It is somewhat depressing that there isn't a lot of Wisconsin participation on the forum. Personally I have seen more exotics around the state this year than any other year before, not sure why that is exactly. I would have thought that would translate to higher participation from my fellow Wisconsinites. Oh well, I'll proudly represent my state! Lake Geneva is a beautiful area, I actually got engaged on the lake itself, married at Geneva National and used to live in Kenosha so I know the area well.
