anyone know of a product that will bring back the faded alcantara dash in my Strad????

Dont get me wrong, its not bad but can only get worse so I want to treat it now before it gets beyond repair.

Nothing. You'll have to replace it. I know of one guy who had it done under a warranty.

BTW, alcantara has a website. Check with them.

have you tried using a protectant spray? they have UV protection against sun fade. the spray usually makes the color slightly darker. you'll need to mask the rest of the interior (windshield, seats etc) and keep it well ventilated if you try.

They look like poo, but I would use the folding visors if I parked it anywhere in the sun. 5 bucks will keep the dash looking nice.

The only sun my dash has been subjected to is while driving and the occasional restaurant. Since this is a very low mileage Stradale I am surprised it is experiencing problems with the alcantara.

I am checking into restoration options other than replacement. There must be options.

I looked into dye. Not a great option due to the deviated stitching on my car. I also looked into replacement of the entire dash, about $15 from Ferrari. That was another forget it. Final option is to pull the dash and have the Alcantara replaced. That was about $4k. That's as far as I've gotten so far.

One other option......forget about it, drive it and let the next guy address it.......usually I find with minor issues like this you are the only one that notices it. IE the small scratch on my drivers door, I know it is there, but no one else has seen it. It KILLS me, but doubt anyone else will notice it.

    Just my 2 cents....

PS your stitching issue definitely complicates things.....
