    Just got mine out today, bare metal respray, rims too, new tires, stainless test pipes, exhaust tips, all new interior, leather, carpets, sills, headliner was redone a few years ago, front bumper moved in, Euro lenses, side markers removed, Euro front side lights, all new luggage compartment, cover, dynamat, carpets. All original colors, Nero over Bordeaux. Happy Father's Day to me! AND to all of you. Lots of pictures, enjoy!

    I just love those 308s, especially the GTBs. Yours is one gorgeous example! Thanks for posting.









    BTW, I've been thinking about pulling my own bumper in and getting the Euro lenses. But your car looks so much better with the round Euro side markers that I'm giving that some thought now, too.

    Would you mind posting some info about the process? (Or send a PM?)

    No problem, side lights were removed, rear wiring was taped up and left behind the new carpet pieces. Front were also removed, the the Euro round ones were wired up to the front side marker wires. I had to eyeball the location becuase although I took many photos of Euro 308s down to the bodyshop, they're not all in the same location! I love the new look though, ESPECIALLY the front bumper pushed back, I left the rear sticking out and had longer exhaust tips made, from stainless of course! I had a set of ANSA stickers, so I put them on the tips, we'll see if I keep them on or not. Thanks for the comments, the entire interior, except black, is new from GAHH, Italian leather and Wilton wool. I also had the stereo removed and a black vinyl "delete plate" made. Ciao, Dino

    Beautiful GTB, congrats.

    I have only had mine for a few months and lots to work on still. I have the Euro repro bumpers in the garage and am waiting for the mounting brackets. Also have a Euro repro front grill and the cavallino for the front (but no mounting brackets? so if anyone knows where I can get those that would help.) I have the redye kit from Leatherique but have been driving the car too much to find the time to do the seats and interior. I want to drop the US diaper and fabricate a Euro style rear valance, but that may wait for a bit. I would like to update the suspension and drop her about an 1", but I wish I could find a way to do that with something close to the original shocks instead of any heavy modifications to the original suspension parts. Also need to fix the trunk zipper, and when I get bored I think about removing the airfoil on the engine decklid. No matter - it is all a lot of fun!

    fchip, i am dropping the suspension in my US 308. it is just springs. pretty cheap. i can give you the name of the shop if you are interested and they can explain the technical details.
