Tons of fun this weekend at Bella Machina in the Poconos. A tiny bit disappointing Saturday at the Concours, but an amazing track event. Some of the nicest cars I've seen out thrashing around in quite a while. Thanks to all who risked these sometimes priceless machines to share with us all. It's a rare treat to see them used as intended. Big thanks to Jon Walton for the hospitality letting us stay at his Walton Compound North. A special thanks to Bob and Karen Coates who work tirelessly to run the track events and bring out their amazing Chinetti NART Boxer. One of my all-time favorite race cars modified by the team from a stock Boxer and extensively raced at most of the great racing circuits on the planet when the North American Racing Team was a name to be reckoned with. Bob religiously maintains this beast as original as could be humanly possible and brings it everywhere for us to see and get some idea what Ferrari's were really about. Bob was kind enough to allow my son Josh to join him in the car for some hot laps. An experience I'm sure he will always remember . I shot this event extensively and will be putting up many images over the next few days. Here is a little sneak peak. Enjoy! I missed the track event, and I didn't see you or Josh either....but I did notice that blonde in your last picture. Nice pics, Bob. Thanks for sharing.
the track event was pretty stellar...amazing seeing some of those historics being pushed around like they were...
My concours photos are up: http://asianguywithacamera.com/images/2010events/062610_LeBelleMacchine/ I'll have the track day photos in a day or two.
As usual when we go for a ride, Jon gets stuck behind some redneck in a pickup. Image Unavailable, Please Login

My pics, uhhhhh, I might get around to them by the end of the week. Doh!!! I didn't even see you up there...course we didn't show up until 12ish. Guess I should've given you a call.
Great pics..DAMN iI missed a great event !! I was headed for the track event on Sunday rolling 80+ on the Turnpike North and one of the brake pressure switches failed on the 928. Not Fun trying to stop at speed with no brakes. needless to say it killed the day running back and forth getting it fixed. talk about a double bummer !!!!! David
Interesting that there was a V12 Vantage Aston in those photos, thats the first one Ive seen in the US
