    Can someone help me i am trying to find a source for some new heat/sound proof mat for under the engine bay bonnet as mine has fell apart any help would be great

    Are you looking for OEM or just something that works and looks good? If You want OEM get a hold of Ricambi in the sponsors section. I used DEI aluminum heat shield, you can get it at summit racing. It has a quilted texture on it and looks looks great, does the job very well.

    I did it myself. I took sometime to get all of the old left over adhesive off, but after that it wasn't to bad. Here is the product I used:

    You can cut it with a good pair of heavy scissors and it is self adhesive. I used silver heat tape to cover any seams and the whole thing turned out really good.

    also what is this shield for whats its purpose are there ferrari owners without this on and has there been any problems
