Coincidence or Not? Satellite pic of my 308

Mine too. Garage door was open when they went by.

 

Those are commercial satellites. Big brother has nothing to do with them. There was (have not checked recently) an aggreement between DoD and commercial satellite owners that they would not publish images with better than 1 meter resolution. That looks about right for those images.

they do update them periodically... for the longest time the shot they had of my house had a small white blob in my backyard. I knew exactly what it was as it was a favorite sleeping place of one of my Basset Hounds.

I cant seem to find your 308 in your link,I wonder what im doing wrong...strange they are both 1983 gtsi's,they must be partial to that year & model...lol

My shot has a photo of me washing my Mercedes with the 308 in the bakground. I was blown away when I saw it.

 

i live on shady oak. the suburbs; that's where they cut down the trees and name the streets after them.

 

I live outside a smaller city, so no satellite takes that level of photo detail. Even on Google the photo predates me living there, so none of my cars are visible.

 

I live in a foreign land and we use big mirrors and paintings to confuse your American satellites! Most of them still think Australia and Austria are the same place anyhow (lol)

 

And Kelly Pickler thinks Europe is a country...we just don't school 'em like we used to. Luckily for her she's hot...to be dumb and ugly makes for a hard life LOL ;-)

Watch posting addresses gang...big brother is less of a threat than all the unemployed folks out there looking to steal for a living. I saw a show on TV over the weekend where they just caught a guy that's been stealing vettes for over 20 years to sell parts. He said he'd stolen close to 200 cars...JUST got caught. That's 200 people that lost their cars never to know what happened. Our cars are fairly easy to steal...especially the older ones. If you don't think it happens...guess again. Auto theft is still a thriving business...ebay helps the crooks as many hot parts are sold using that media....

Web cams in the garage, GPS car trackers, shifter gate lockouts, battery disconnects and home security systems can really help deter loosing your car or help you find it if (lord forbid) someone takes it....anything you can do to slow them down helps. A good car thief can steal your car in about a minute. Poof it's gone...think about that one for a second.

Not trying to scare anybody...just think about what you do and don't make it easy for them, they ARE out there.

 

My house is just a big blob - no resolution at all there. If I didnt know which one was mine then I would have no idea what I was looking at.

This is merely a clever ruse perpetrated upon the unwary by those in charge.

To the OP: wrap your car in tinfoil so it cannot be seen by spy satellites.

 

Really, last time I checked Melbourne and Dallas were in different countries...

 

They are 17" compomotives & lowered with the QA-1 shocks. I dont live at that address anymore
