Hello. My first engine out is conducted at the moment, and today we installed the engine back in the car. But i can´t find any information about the tourqe on the bolts to the subframe. maybe one of you have those specs. i will post some pics when she´s running again.
Marcus, I just finished a major service on my 1989 Mondial t and I torqued the large chassis bolts to 90 ft/lbs and the small bolts to 55 ft/lbs.
Well it´s my first engine out I have owned the car for 3 years and it was delivered with a fresh timing belt. the total mileage on the car is 91000 km. During the inspection I have replaced: Timing belt Tensioner bearings ( Hill engineering) Alternator and A/C belts fuelfilters gearbox oil ( red line lightweight shockproof) 1 ea O2 sensor fuel injectors cleaned and flowtested. and thank you for the tourqe specs. Best regards Marcus

Well this time it took about 3.5 days, but that includes alot of cleaning and general inspection of the car to get a picture of the conditon. also i did some spraying with corrosion preventive compound to protect the chassis. I would guess that next time it will take me 2 days to complete the replacement of the belt, wont replace the bearing or the waterpump the next time if the condition of the parts is good.
