I've decided to sell my GTS. It's S/N 07412, and was purchased new by my father in the UK in 1974. It is a right-hand-drive car with a certifiable 35,000 miles on the odometer and comes with original tools, books, and service receipts. Price will be commensurate for an example of this rare history and condition. I'll put an ad on FerrariAds shortly, and might end up consigning the car to a broker with contacts in RHD markets. I just thought I'd float this here first. PM me if you have any questions.

Yes, it's true. I've decided that I'd like to have something more usable and air-conditioned (and bank the difference). I'm willing to bide my time to get a good price.

I'll trade ya for my icy-cold 2006 Carrera2 if you throw in that Moretti as well.

Beautiful cars... both of them... Nice wheel/tyre upgrade on the Dino!

That Moretti looks really special. How many of those were ever made?!

advertise on carsales.com.au if you want to sell in Australia. As a guide, GTS's sell for AUD$250k+ = US$215+

having said that, any Aussie buyer would be liable for a large tax bill importing an overseas car

Interesting. Thanks! Do you have a ballpark figure as to what the tax penalty might be?

at $250k I think about $100k which would make it hard to find a buyer at that price.

Thanks. I have no idea how many of the 1500s were produced, but my guess would be fewer than 50. They made them through '66, though the later ones had revised front-end styling that did away with the split grill.

Yeah, one of the funniest was a guy who came up to me in a restaurant parking lot about a year ago and without asking me what it was, remarked that he had not seen one "in a really long time". I just nodded and smiled.
