Too bad they don't do an episode on the Morgan Car factory in Malvern, England. I had a chance to visit there recently and it was one of the high points of the trip.

^ Given their extremely low production #s they could change the title to Ultimate Workshops for those builders

kind of funny how they make the BMW's Z4 engine in Germany and then ship it to the states to mate up with the chassis to then ship it to wherever it's going to end up.

I recall Hulu having some episodes, I watched some of the Ferrari one on there. It may be gone now since they usually don't keep shows on the website for a long time.

The Ferrari segment was pretty good, but you might notice, as did I, that some of the shots of the bodywork being finished was that of an F430. There was even a shot of a Maserati GT for about a fraction of a second. Probably the most amazing part of this for me was how they fitted hardened valve seats to the heads by freezing the seats in liquid nitrogen (thus shrinking them ever so slightly), fitting them to the head and allowing them to return to room temperature to expand and lock them into place. That's certainly one step that cannot be duplicated by the home or shop mechanic.

The Corvette segment featured the Z06. The thing that stood out on that one was how meticulous they are about making sure the paintwork people are super clean with no particulate debris. They undergo a vigorous test each day that includes rubbing a test panel over their uniforms, then spraying and baking that panel to see if there are any paint "craters." If there are, you flunk and get sent home.

I loved the Rolls Royce one. Showed why you buy so much more than a car.

But all car related ones are _very_ interesting.

The current gen Z4 is built entirely in Germany now, and they only build the "X" vehicles in South Carolina.
