    Hi everyone. does anyone know what this noise is. When driving I get a very sharp solid knocking noise arround the back of the door if I hit any bumps on the road. Have checked door stricker etc and all appears OK there. Any one got any suggestions. Thanks James

    I'll betcha it's the rubber mount for the lower end of the window track....betcha betcha betcha. Remove the side scoop. Take a look. Sometimes it's the bracket broken. Bummer.

    +1 ..... :) ........... my electric window motor 'rubber mounts' delaminated so I made some improved versions. The new mounts accomodated dampened movement but also had a 'through bolt' to make sure it never happened again :).

    I used Robbies 'how to' to get the panel off ..... ;)
