    As much as I'd love to drive down to Supercar Sunday's, it's just a little too far to do on a regular basis so I'd like to start up a Santa Barbara Cars and Coffee. Just a casual event but we'll see where it goes. I'm going to be scouting out locations this week so let me know if you're interested in joining and any potential locations. Right now, I'm going to speak to the Boathouse at Hendry's Beach and Shoreline Cafe at Leadbetter Beach. Any other suggestions?

    I'd do this, but I'm one of those Supercar Sunday irregulars. Once a month is usually good for me, twice is rare. I have friends in the area and used to live in WH, so it's just one of those things that gets me out of bed regardless where it is.

    I'm in the North part of Ventura, so Carp or Ventura or even SB would work. My office is in SB so I make the Ventura to SB drive every day. Driving the coast and outside of Los Angeles county is so nice!

    PM me some details once we get a location and some people to sign up, or bump the thread up so we can keep track of it.

    If it's early or later enough, I'd do BOTH get togethers once or twice a month back to back.

    Welcome to the Left Coast! 'trust that you're getting acclimated. It's definitely a different lifestyle out here. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as we have.
    I'm not too familiar with SB, but I do know that the Porsche club meets at Moby Dick on Stearns Wharf the morning of the second Saturday of each month (and at the Camarillo Airport Waypoint Cafe...an excellent 'alternate' location, by the way...on the 1st Sat). There are quite a number of us within a comfortable commute (from both directions) of Santa Barbara; I'd anticipate a good response. Keep us posted.

    Subscribed. Downtown Carp would be great. A little slower pace and traffic compared to SB, and a good excuse to take the 150 there instead of the 101.

    I haven't given up on this and met with a few different places but then found out there is already a Cars and Coffee going on at Anna's Bakery on Marketplace Drive in Goleta every Saturday morning from 7:30 to 9AM. I can't vouch for it but do intend to check it out tomorrow morning. Anyone want to join me?

    How about a 3-5PM one in Goleta and maybe dinner afterwards. 1-3PM with a drive afterwards would be great. That way we could get more of the Central Coast guys to join in

    OK, got things locked down, flyers being printed to help build some local enthusiasm but we won't kick this off until after the Avila Beach and Santa Barbara Concours events so there are no conflicts. Stay tuned....
