I was wondering if any other car guys here also make use of gas cards with the 5% discounts. I have had a Shell card for 6+ years, but now they have capped my discount to $390 in gas a month. I am pissed...

Any others out there, aside from a GM Card or Amex type points?

No. Shell's probably looking for ways to pay for their subsidiary company boo, boo's in the gulf. Try say a Citi card for mileage?

I have a Chase card that still gives me 5% on gas/groceries/drug stores, but there haven't been any new ones that you can apply for in a long time. Check out FatWallet.com's finance forum - they have a list of a zillion cards with different incentives.

I have the shell card as well. The Costco Amex card is another good option. 3% cash back for individuals and I recall 4% for business card holders. Down side is you only get the check once a year instead of a monthly credit to your account.
