.....................................or maybe just Dash to Diablo.

I am getting some tuning and dyno done on the TR Saturday at Carb Connection and need to take for a shakedown on Sunday.

This is a repeat of the one I did last year. (Pictures) http://www.thebestemployee.com/forum/showthread.php?t=255059&highlight=diablo

The best driving is EARLY on Sunday. The weather should be excellent.

If interested PM me or send me an email through the Club mail.

The dyno went well. The fuel injection is set up good, making a few more horse power.
    Smooth and sweet.
    Ready to DRIVE!!

Wow, jealous. Wish I could go on my bike, but it is in race trim and I will be consumed in forced servitude (work). Watch for deer and obviously Park Rangers, those tickets are federal.

Best time for Washington Pass is starting at the base at 7am. Cool, crisp and no RV traffic.

We'll probably be pulling out of New Halem about 8:00 or so. I won't be trying to break any speed records, just "testing".

Great time! Beautiful weather. Glorious sounds coming from two Boxer 12's and three V8's echoing around the northern Cascades. Thanks for letting me join in the drive this morning. I had an absolute blast with the breakaway group as we climbed the pass. I've got some video following both Testarossas. It's too bad I couldn't hang out longer at the top. I did make it back safe without a hitch.

    Good to meet you Mark.
    Your M5 is awesome!

Sorry to hold you guys up on the first part.
These 16" BF Goodrich tires are not up to the task on the tighter corners. They did not instill a lot of confidence, lots of scrubbing and complaining, plus I really didn't want to get personal with those stone walls on the edge of the road.

I let my nephew bring it down off the pass. He is used to driving an E36 M3.

I warned him about the weight of the TR in corners, like guiding a fat girl across the dance floor compared to the M3.

He got it and did a good job.

I would rather chase you guys in my nephews M3. Much better in the corners.

The tires I have are 'Z' rated but the compound is hard and the technology is old.
They look like balloon tires next to the tires on Jose's TR

255/50-16 on the rear versus 295/30-19 on Jose's car. Big difference.

Thanks for the great drive idea,it is fun to get Scott and Jose to bring the cars out and drive them.It was nice to also get to meet some new people, and figure out what the other horse emblemed car is going to need in the near future.

Good to see you too Sean.
Sounds like it's time for a super charger on your pony.

I think Scott and Jose broke some records on Sunday...............:)

Sweeet! Great compilation Taylor, good song choice. I need to get you my video so you can do a left screen/right screen video of that last segment using the video of the pass and drive downhill.
