I have read about targa roofs in carbon fiber but never found anyone that sells them. So this morning I made a search on google and found this company: http://www.revozport.com/revozportRT.htm. They don’t have any pictures but the roof is in their pricelist at $1500. Have any one heard or seen this roof before?

Has anyone actually seen this live? It would also be interesting to know what it looks like underneath and if it is any lighter.

The CF roof on the 355gts was actually a factory option. Part number 65583000 about $7500. NLA, as far as I know.

I have a CF roof on my 348, and it weighs almost nothing. My friend resnow has the other one.

Mine is pure CF with no inside core. I cannot imagine how it could be produced in the $1000 price point, unless it's an overlay or something.

Granted, the thread is 3 years old... but I hit the revosport link and the roof is no longer listed (at least I couldn't find it).

Anybody know where I can find a carbon fiber roof panel for a 95 GTS?

    Thanks!

Edit: I found a link on Revosport site (but no pricing). I've got an email into them inquiring about availability and pricing.

One advantage of a black GTS is that the black roof does not "damage" the lines of the car as do the contrasting colors (Yellow GTS w/black targa top, for example) when the top is on.

To put this seriously different looking (different finish) top on a black car does not do it for me :-(

BTW, I got an email from Revosport. They still carry the CF Top and it retails for $2,000 ($3,000 if you want both sides in CF).

Hmm, 3 years ago it was $1,500. Don't things usually get cheaper to fabricate over time?

Mine is full carbon, top and bottom and not some kind of laminate overlay. $1500 sounds right (I guess) if it's not really a proper carbon top.
