Vicki Butler-Henderson... Used to host Fifth Gear (don't know if it's still on) and one of the hosts of the original Top Gear (long, long ago).

Wow impressive on both counts (u & her)!

She's very multi talented! Holds car & power boat racing licenses & rides Ducati....

maybe I should send my daughter to karting when Changi's done :p @ the moment she's having fun with electric F1 lookalike cars @ B2 of T3 :D

If she has interest in racing, taking it from child's point of view, I'd strongly encourage it, if you have the time and money. (Don't know about time, money surely isn't a problem :D)

A friend and I, mad as we are about motorsports, were not given our chance to develop that interest. And as schooling teenagers, we rarely have the time nor money to spend on karting (I'd assume that parents, like mine would have wean-ed the kids off full monetary support by now) so we're left with going on motion simulators with rFactor, GTR, etc to get our fix (None of that Need For Speed Rubbish :p). And even if I say so myself, I do believe I'm at least above average behind the wheel. But at this age, I suppose that sliver of talent has long passed it's chance to shine.

If she wants to, why not let her? Even if she doesn't become the next Sabine Schmitz, you'd at least be one heck of a Father in her eyes :)

Thanks, Tim/Cai/Leang/Vinesh/Jon/Doug/Keong/Derek/Winston, etc. for all the nice words about my new baby. To Derek - maybe it was the constant ribbing that actually spurred me towards buying the car :)

Patrick owns a Mercedes-Benz ML 63 AMG, and a Lamborghini Gallardo. She has received two speeding tickets in her hometown of Scottsdale, Arizona. The first, in 2007, was for driving 57 mph (92 km/h) in a 40 mph (64 km/h) zone, for which she was ordered to attend traffic school; the second, in 2008, was for going 54 mph (87 km/h) in a 35 mph (56 km/h) zone, and she paid a $196 fine.

    Nah, not ganas enough.. :p

Sabine Schmitz, the queen of Nurburgring! You can hitch a ride in her BMW "ring taxi" to experience her prowess!

Fifth Gear is kinda like here nor there. If you want entertainment, go for TopGear. If you wish to seek proper advice, go for EVO or Autocar.

Same here mate! I have the passion for motorsports as well, but wasn't given the chance or opportunity to let it develop. If reality isn't going to be possible, I have to go virtual to fuel that desire. Guess thats pretty much explains why the games I've played since young only involve cars. :p

Yep looks like karting is the jump start for rookies. Nah, u know kids, they just want fun. Education is placed far on top in Singaporean's mind. I'd let nature take it's course & prefer em to grow up all rounded & let em choose their interests.

Hey, glad you'd let your heart chose it's course. So, two spiders @ home? Did you opt for rear seats & did the kid fit?

The American? Thought she looks pretty.
