    A solid investment.

Probably pushed the value of the car well into used-Civic-with-bad-paint territory where, let's be honest, a lot of guys are looking to drop $50K and finding very little inventory.

A bit hypocritical no? Why can't they have passion for all the effort they put into their car to make it the way they wanted to, while you went to the dealer and just picked your car up(generalizing)?

You may say they did all that just to show off; no one needs that much horsepower. Well no one needs a 562hp Ferrari 458 Italia, but guess what? people still buy them. We have heard many stories of people rubbing their Ferrari to someones face just because they could. Just because I like to show off, or go fast in my fcar does not mean I don't have passion for it.

It still is just a car after all, only difference is the way you perceive it.

Have all the passion you want, about whatever you want. Just don't go on to a Ferrari forum talking BS with your first post. Thats the lesson to be learned here. Also to be learned the following: FAST + PIECE OF !#$% = A FAST PIECE OF !#$%.

Some people just deserve to be stuck driving Civics.

Buck boys and girls, summer vacation will soon be over, all the Civics will be safely tucked away in high school parking lots and we, the adults, will again be free of the immature and the ignorant. At least until Christmas break.

Where do I start in answering the question....

Heritage - How many World Championships does Honda have? They may have a few, I honestly dont know...its never been a selling point for Honda to me...

Leather - Nothing beats the smell of hand-stitched Italian leather.

Steering - No other car (Honda, Ford, Toyota, etc...) gives me the communicative steering feedback that my 25 year old Ferrari does.

Looks - Everywhere I drive I get thumbs up, people yelling out there windows, cell phone cameras going off like mad every time I take the Ferrari out. No other car I have does that... (for clarity I have four cars)

Sound - Simply put, NOTHING else on the road sounds like it, except another Ferrari.

Beauty - My Ferrari (and others) are simply rolling pieces of art.

Rarity - There is nothing else that looks like it on the road. The car has HUGE charisma that is simply rarely found anywhere else.

Smiles - Every time I look in my garage I think "Holy Crap!!! I own a Ferrari!!!!"

Thats a short list of why to buy a Ferrari.

That Honda dyno chart is pitiful. You only make 150HP at 5,000 RPM's? That must suck to drive around.

Now me & the mad scientist have to rip apart the block to replace the piston rings you fried.

Why is this stupid thread still going? The OP shot his load and left. I'm quite sure
he WON'T be back. And if he does, it'll just be to read all the posts still keeping this
    troll thread alive.

Because the entire Red Bull slurping, Eminem listening world thinks a hopped up Honda is a supercar... and that amuses us greatly.

Me too. Because at the end of the day and a good drive, I still have a beautiful f348. You have a civic held together by duck tape.

    Here end'eth the lesson.

    Consider the art world.

Some people really love the work of, say, Van Gogh. Others say, "Why bother with Van Gogh when I can paint something better myself?" Still others ask, "Why pay such huge quantities for Van Gogh when Jean Miró's works are prettier and less expensive?"

    And that's all fine.

For most of us who own Ferraris, they're works of art like Van Goghs'. Some people buy other cars that might be works of art, but we prefer the Ferraris.

And some people just don't get it.

Because we're waiting for him to come back and get more abuse.

Oh, and to offer him a free trial sample of this for being such a little...

It doesn't matter if it's a Honda, a Lambo, Corvette or whatever... It's just a matter of choice. You could buy a 20 foot runabout or a 120 foot pilothouse twinmasted schooner. A blond or brunette...choices my friend...we all make them...not to convince someone else of the 'rightness' of our choice. Just simply to enjoy our sojourn on this earth. You to yours and me to mine. Peace brother.
