Still wading through allot of pricks on the various forum, other than that all ok my end brother Great job you have done with the spider, but i expect nothing lesss
I like the black carpet tan leather combination. Are these 355 Spider chairs or the 348 spider chairs the same as 355's?
They certainly do look similar. But the 355 spiders head rests have an ergonomically concaved back to them.
Yep, seats are the same, headrests different. Now if Steve would just hurry up doing such a good job we could get a nice picture of a 355 and a 348 together so we can confirm
I've been silently watching, but I must speak. You're doing some amazing work to that stunning car! Very impressive! Can I ship you mine when your done?
Oh and the 355s have a little black plastic roof frame guide attached to each seat right next to the head rest.
Awesome thread and beautiful work. O/T, having owned (previously) a TR8 for 24 years I can appreciate the stablemates as well.
Thanks mate, really pleased with the way it has turned.I had a picture in my head of what I wanted and it worked out perfectly. As for the pricks, part of life on every forum I'm afraid.
Apologies for leaving the thread unfinished but have been away for a few days. One of the major headaches as we with 348's know are the front driving light assy.As you can see the O/S lens was broken when I bought the car,This has been the cause of much deliberation on my part.New units are around the £750 mark(each) and there was no way I was paying that. Came up with several solutions. The first was just find a good used example, which I did, but that was just like the N/S unit which was covered in tiny chips and to fit them in that state would have looked a bit naff agaist the new paint.Even the used unit had one of the fixing points broken off and it had to be repaired. Next solution was a pair of new replacement lenses from a supplier in the UK which I bought.Problem with these as you can see is that they were completely clear with no patteren. The third possibilty was to purchase a pair of the replacement lenses that have been reproduced by the guy on here. They look great in the photo's but I have to admit I was still reluctant to pay £600 for a pair of lenses. That then leads me to the route I took, some will hate some will like.It will only work IMO on a dark coloured car and if it needs changing back to original it can be done in seconds. All comments welcome both positive and negative, you won't hurt my feelings if you tell me they look crap Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Very nice mate. Although in this case i prefer the GTB version out of the two, it may be the blood red . The TR8 in the 3rd picture rocks though mate. Is it as good as it looks?
