Andrew- There is more to life than schedule and board meetings. You and dad need to call in sick and go to the F40 reunion in Monterey. Oh wait you're both your own boss... Geno.
Ditto Geno, when I worked for my Dad's company I just told my superior this is what I'm doing. Never had a problem and my father never intervened. My Dad was totally against nepotism and he left decisions concerning me to management. He always stayed out of showing favoritism to me and I ascended in the company through my own hard work. Thus, I retired from the work force when I was 37. And I was able to do it on my own merits!
I would gladly offer my services to drive your F40 to pebble and document the whole thing in a blog. Including the 200mph+ tickets in Nebraska Utah and Nevada. I'll even have a full detail done when (if) I return and loan you my Gallardo while I am gone. Blogs are all the rage you know how popular this will make you?
Was it a real Ford GT40 or a replica; or, was it a current Ford GT? To see a real GT40 would be a very rare event.
Probably a superperformance. I think there are only 3 street GT40s worldwide, and I think we'd know by now if one lived in Illinois.
