McLaren say they can't find anything in their data. Ugly situation to be in for them, something probably failing and you can't find out how.

He's quoted in Auto Motor und Sport that in Hockenheim, watching the mirrors vs. watching the track wasn't the problem, he f***** up with keeping his revs up.

Vettel's laptimes are staggering. Alonso closes the gap, and suddenly Seb pulls a full second out again.

 

Judging by the way Fernando blew by Webber and almost got Vettel, it looks like the Renault engine just doesn't get off the line well. I know a lot of the start is down to the driver, but Vettel's casr sure seemed to be down on power compared to Alonso.
