Like Martin said Webber will have to go half the race on magically non-wearing softs to stay ahead of Alonso...

I don't think Vettel necessarily has to slow down. I think that each car is actually performing based on their current tires. FA just set a pretty strong lap, and then Vettel did step it up a bit,
