    Hello all,

    I'm trying to buy gear oil to change in my '86 328...and I forgot to check how much I need before I left home today. I've searched through the archives and found a qty of 4.3qts listed in an old thread...can someone please confirm that?

    Get 5 qts. and make sure that it has a LS additive in it.

    Uh, check the archives regarding the LS additive. LOTS of discussion. Bottom line: it's good for the diff, bad for the gearbox. Do a search.
