    I just had my front bumper repainted, should I get the clear bra protection now? Is there a better solution out there? I take my car to the track a couple times a year and only drive the car in the summer, should I be worried about discoloration or anything?

    I would, the films protect from chips, not fading to the best of my knowledge. Venture Sheild is what I had installed most recently, it seems to have much less waviness and "orange peel" than other brands.

    I personally do not like the look of the clear film.

    I would rather have the nose resprayed when necessary than have the film on there.

    My car is a driver not a concours car. I appreciate the clear bra. Can you see it? Yes but it is not an issue for me and is much easier to maintain.

    I did the same as you are suggesting, had the hood and front bumper resprayed and had the clear film applied. Venture Shield as well.
