Is the top on this car permanently open? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ferrari-355-F1-Custom-1998-Ferrari-F355-F1-Spyder-Shaquille-ONeals-Car-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQitemZ220649920051QQptZUSQ5fCarsQ5fTrucks
Good to see more current pictures of that car. the ones released before were very few and far between. I am not a great fan of whats been done, its just how unusual it is that attracts me. The advert says its been custom made by ferrari, actually i think it was West Coast Customs that did the work.
That is one rough looking engine compartment. Just a little bit of work would all that is required to get that up to shape and probably help in the sale of the car. I think those are aftermarket wheels as well. Are they the 19" Highline wheels?
Yes it is rough looking under the lid. The car as a whole looks like a turd to me. There is no way Ferrari would have done that work.
Not a fan. If you are going to mod a car like Ferrari you better be ready to keep it forever. He totaly killed any resale value IMO.
He was going for the Batmobile look to match his Superman seats...what a waste of a great car. Yes it looks like total S#$T IMO. Wonder if there's a top for it or are you just "hosed" if it rains? If it has one, I can only imagine what that would look like.... To each his own but it's a pass in my book. Looks pretty tired for the miles stated...?
I highly doubt shaq was worried about resale when he modded this car. It doesn't look that bad, I bet the top is under the batman covers
It says in the ad the top was removed entirely. So why is the question asked repeatedly? Also, if you look close you will notice those additions behind the seats actually house what look like some 8" subs. If this indeed is a WCC car I wouldn't be surprised that this came from those tasteless pea-brains.
Because he is over 7 foot tall and that was the only way he could fit. His 456 was also modded for him so that he could fit.
The ad is full of inaccurate information "one of only 20 or so custom cars built by Ferrari over the last 20 years or so". That is a complete fabrication (no pun intended). This car was NOT custom built by Ferrari, and the last part of the quote is a total lie, or an uneducated guess. The car does not appear to have service records either. Something tells me this car is going to see eBay numerous times.
