Didn't they say dead heat at the end?
Fun video though I have to say but it's obviously only for show and not real.....

Kind of disappointing...absolute TV pablum; would have loved to seen a real standoff regardless of the winner.

Jennifer- Thought you were in Albuquerque today. Picking up beer, there was a TDF and cuoio California parked nearby. Very pretty car and it made me think of you. First one Jan had seen and she really liked it, too.

My ears are burning...felt like ALB here today. V HOT. Had mine out at a little Italian joint for lunch with a gf and ran into our FC Pres. What wheels did that car have? Then you'd know! ;)

Jennifer- It had your old wheels on it. Was not sure you had installed the new ones yet because you have not posted any photos. Hint, hint.

The car you saw today was mine. Is it the only one in Albuquerque?

C- Welcome to the forum. It is the first one I have seen in Albuquerque. Very pretty car. Let me know if you need technicians in town and I will hook you up with two really good ones.

My powers of observation were not operating fully today. Did I get the wheels correct or was I, as usual, full of crap?

Not pentagrams, Ashwin, that makes me sound like a devil worshiper, when I am merely an atheist. They are Lone Stars, of course! ;)

And yes, have organized them but they are not on yet. Next week possibly...

Bahahah :D:D

Congrats, I'm sure a few of us knew how bad you wanted them. I thought that was the name for the wheel :eek: Though, lone stars sound cool too. :D

And yes to what Jason said, PICS!!!

PS. Have you heard back from my friend that wanted to do the video of your car? I haven't spoken with him in a while, and I know his schedule is busy because of his summer classes.

To be honest, I don't know what they're called. On the configurator they're called "forged 19 diamond." I just like the star design. I hope I like them as much on the car, but will keep my standards until I'm sure and then pop them up for sale when I'm sure. I will take and post pics as soon as they're on. Thanks for the support!

It's a thought, esp if I can't sell 'em! ;)

Oh, and yes, your friend was busy, and I've been at the ranch a lot with the new foal, so probably just bad timing. I'm trying to get him to come to one of our FCA breakfasts so we can meet "safely" - some friends have voiced concerns about my "trust" of a stranger...although I'm sure all is fine. I guess a woman does have to think of these things these days, even though I like to think I can take care of myself pretty well.

The point I got is that they are both great GT cars. I've actually got my eye on a used DBS. Guess that would be silly to have both a Cali and a DBS. (Used is the only way as depreciation is steep)

Any members actually driven both in 'normal' regular circumstances.....thoughts?
