Hi Guys My F360 had slow down issue for 2 month ago and checked by SD3 then shown LH THERMOCOUPLE fault....Frist I replaced the LH THERMOCOUPLE but vehicle still with slow down light flush while cold start and driving on road. Today I replaced another's and road test for 3 hours in afternoon. The slow down light 2 times only...But still not complete remove this issue...Any advervice?? Thanks KZ
First, if you have access to a infrared heat gun, take the surface temperature of the catalytic converter that is "supposedly" over heating, and them compare it to the side that is "okay". We want to rule out a genuine overheating cat issue. If the temps check out okay then.... Try swapping the thermocouples from one side to the other. The reason is to see if the fault follows the "bad" thermocouple. If you still get the fault on the left side, swap the catalytic converter temperature ecu's from one side to the other. Again to see if the fault follows the "bad" part. Ferrari's are NOTORIOUS for having the cat ecu's go bad. Try that and see what you find.
thanks for your reply frist. The SD3 shown LH thermocouple fault by dealer service manager and I replaced both of thermocouples while not reslove issue replaced LH's only. How to carry out test ECU in this case?? Thanks
Thanks for your reply frist...I'll try to use my friend's F360 ECU,catalytic for make sure which part could be causes of the failure .... I've took 2 NEW thermocouples already so swap ecu and chek all of rube and connector would be enough I wish... Thanks
Thanks for your reply frist.....I scraped the grounding line of ECU that located in LH rear engine cover back....still slow down light on!! Sometimes slow down light come with cold start...Vehicle parked all night !! I got the OBD code be the yesterday below this P1198*3 P1120*2 P1454*2 Thanks
In that case I think it's has to be a bad cat ecu. Or..... You may want to have a close look at the condition of the wiring for the plug connecting to the cat ecu. It could be that the ecu is "good" but the problem is a bad connection, or broken wires.
I replaced NEW temp sensor both of side already..Still waits my buddy's f360 arriver for exchange ecu for make sure which item cause this issue... Checked all rube and connecting and find out SUCTION MANIFOLD RH union broke!!!! Thanks
