There is a very good Thai restaurant in Volcano.
Winner! You have good taste G-man! I often have friends ask me about the "parameters" of Aloha. Sadly I have nothing interesting to respond with but one should remain optimistic. ..."Don't see a service you need, contact Malia at Xpress Reprographics & Printing"...
LOL! That's where I went to college. Your $7 pineapple sorbet paid my tuition! I miss Hawaii badly. I would move back to Oahu in a heartbeat, but my wife gets bugged by island lifestyle the same way Glassman does.
The ugly again. This is the resturant that my wife and I visited a few years ago. Doesn't even remotely qualify as Indian. Don't waste your time even trying. It is........ungood!!!! But I did stop at a Thai place just off of Kanoolei, and it was nummy and hotter than hell. My mouth still hurts so I'm going down to the pool and drink some Volcano Ale. I just had a thought.... maybe there will be young Asian girls at the pool!!!!!!!! The good!!!!
Today I installed a new security screen door for my neighbor. So she took me to Bali for lunch. God that Vietnamese food is good. The Fou soup (sp) with beef is heaven. This time I stayed away from any sauces that shoot out of plastic containers. My lips feel fine!!!!
Pass if you make it to Kona in the next three days give me a hollar. Lunch at Bali on me. I head back to Montana on Thursday.
I just returned from a walk on the beach with my neighbor. I was watching for shells etc, and almost fell over a turtle taking a snooze on the beach. What is the distance you are supposed to keep from these guy's? I have been told the fines are very stiff. What happens if you accidentally stumble over one of them, and get caught?
The Bad again. I'm back in Montana and head out to Costco. My god Montana Costco shoppers are rude. Carts left in the aisles and people standing around talking and blocking the path. Big problem with 50% of the population packing heat!!!!! I miss actual polite shoppers!!!!!!
Oh no...its that damn aloha isn't it???? Actually I had a pretty nice time in Hawaii. Back in Sept. and then for Christmas. Updates then
Viet soup is called Pho not Fou. Bruddah, you seem to have a thing for Asian girls, remember that Island girls are not Asian, they are South Pacific Islander. Much different thing.
Well it should just about be time that you come back over here yes? Traveling at Christmas time.....ahhhhhhh the joy.
Slight change of plans will put me in Kona in Jan-Feb. Looks like its a white Christmas for me. Planning a new thread. Poi, its whats for dinner!!!!
The luau is one of the best parts of the PCC. Expecting alcohol at a Mormon-run facility is like expecting non-kosher food during Hanukkah or Passover, not gonna happen.
