    Hi Fchatters.
    I've just bought and installed a new Nouvalari exhaust on my US 1983 308 QV. I've had some issues with the installation, but the people at Nouvalari paid me the extra cost of the exhaust changes to adapt it correctly to the car. Great customer support, fast and really great! Highly recommended. Thanks to John and Richard.

    The exhaust is a Sport system, the finishing and details are very good for the price paid, around US $1000, and the sound is great. I promise to post a sound clip as soon as possible. The sound is showing a true V8 Ferrari; at low rpm the sound is not annoying but very deep, and when the tacho needle rises the sound is very exciting. Is quieter than a racing muffler, so not annoying in highways. I post some pics.

    Question for anyone who knows: How is it people in Europe get these exhaust systems for around $1k while if they are imported to the states they cost $1600?

    I've bought this exhaust six months ago, and finally I have installed it this month. Maybe in this time prices rised, as I've read in another thread.

    Just my 2 cents.

    Someone here said buy from them directly for the good pricing, and not through the distributor advertising on ebay. No experience myself, but I'm definitely interested in their product.

    I'll see if I can get a clip this weekend. My issue is that the exhaust is slightly crooked. the drivers side is slightly lower than the passenger side. I need to take a picture and send to them as maybe I can adjust on my end.

    Did the test pipes come with the kit or was there an additional charge? I believe the '83 originally had 2 cats.

    The test pipes -you're right, 2- were included in the price -in fact these are very simple, only a tube with special ends, that's all, with the threads for the sensors-. I'm very happy with it.
    I've promised to post a sound clip or video.

    I have a perfectly good original muffler on our 82 308 but the price point a year ago was very good and I asked for a sound clip of their sport muffler. I was promised a sound clip twice and never received it. That was fine so I e-mailed again and even enquired about selling their product. I never received the answers I was promised so I dropped the issue.
    I read positive threads about their product but commuication with them was not successful. That is my experiance with them. Lost

    The US distributor is a gentlemen by the name of Glenn, unbelievably good communication. Calls or emails back within minutes. If you are having trouble with the actual manufacturer, contact Glenn.

    That matches my experience with them during that 'group buy' last year. "Sure, we have one for a 328, details to follow" then nothing despite my efforts.

    At 1K it was a decent deal, at $1600+ I'll stick with the stock unit.

    I purchased mine for $900 shipped back in May or June....I don't recall. I was not part of any group buy, I just emailed them through their website.
