    Here's a question that everyone I talked to gives me a different answer. What is the different between Red, Black, Silver and Yellow brake calipers?

    Things like the red calipers have better seals and the yellow ones are used only with ceramic pads. silver ones where just a standard grade and the black ones where a step down from the red ones. I didn't think there was any difference myself but I thought I would check.

    Lou, when ordering a new Ferrari you have the option to choose things like brake caliper color, body color, interior leather, even the color of the thread used in the stitching.

    +355 ........... Black calipers are the best on all fronts that matter ... :cool: !!!!! Any other color is 'compensating' ........... ;)

    I would have said compromising but we can go with compensating :)
