Just curious if there is somone out there who sells the proper yellow Ferrari sheilds which are on some GT4s, just in front of the doors.

    Cheers

They're all aftermarket for GT/4s, not "proper".

Nope. 288 GTO was the first street car with them.

As others have said, they didn't come standard on the GT4....but if you wanted to put them on then I would go for the Yoshi style badge....its more or lest one of the best quality badge that you can get..

At $375 each for a replica badge I'm glad the GT4 didn't come with any stinking badges!

    Are you sure?

Mine are recessed into the guards and the sheilds are showing their age.
Either it was a factory option or someone has gone to a lot of effort a long time ago with my car.

Favian, there are resin stickers you can get for under $20.00 a pair. That is what my car had on it when i got it. i took them off the car, as they are not appropriate to me. I bought Dino wheel badges for my 208 to replace the Prancing Horses, but the damn things dont fit (too big). i don want any Horses on the car, other than the one on the rear tail panel. If i hope to sell this 208, its needs to be correct and original as possible. Ricambi and T Rutlands should have the shields, as well as Superperformance.

you can still see the "sticky" stuff i have to get off the paint from removing the stickers.

Napolis took the ones off the Enzo and put them recessed into his 208GTB Turbo......it was a lot of effort but came out very nice....

I use the proper sized magnetic badges when I feel like it.
Can slap them on, and take them off at will, dependent
when I feel like it, or when the mood suits me.

Makes sense with me. The look is good, the badges are
cool, although NOT proper. $40 USD at your nearby Ferrari
    dealer.

Yes, the 288 GTO was the first.

    Cheers,
    Dwight

Yes George Im certain of this and I have seen your car and was puzzled by it as well.I think you will find that someone went through alot of trouble along time ago on your car and it looks good in my opinion.Post a pic if you get a chance for others to see.
