Hopefully the weather holds up, looks like mostly sunny around 80 degrees. I'll be stopping by too, hoping to meet some of you this time --myself being a future Ferrari owner...hopefully within just a few years ;-)

I've ALWAYS dreamed of having a 308 GTS, and thankfully they're getting "affordable"...although thats a relative term, lol. My salary within a few years should be more than enough to cover it. (yay school!)

Dan & Grant, thanks for the pics. There was a great mix of cars, every C&C there seems to be more clubs showing up.

Doug & Bob, thanks for planning out the cruise and making sure no one got lost. The exhausts sounded incredible bouncing off the trees on the country roads, especially the Ford GT and the 599.

Can't wait for the next event!

 

I agree - it takes time to set up a good route and lots of energy ensuring everyone makes it safely to the end point. Our thanks to both of you!

Thanks also to Howard and Adam Jacobs for inviting us out to their restaurant, Cafe Toscano - it made a great ending spot and the food was fantastic.

Is the next C&C going to be at the Panera at Harvard Park (like last year), since there will be the air show at Burke?

We're trying to figure out what the traffic situation will be like, and exploring alternate options in case the usual spot is out. If it's possible to hold it @Quay, it's a decent spot to watch the air show from the boardwalk.

 

They don't close access to Marginal Rd until the afternoon, so we'll hold it at the usual spot this Saturday.

C&C attendees are welcome to stick around and watch the airshow from the boardwalk.

We will do an early morning Pre-C&C drive, route TBD, given the airshow and the holiday.

 

Okay, gotcha.

My only concerns with this are that there might be a lot of traffic, and also people might come to Quay just to watch the airshow from the boardwalk there (which will take up parking spaces for C&C). Does anyone else think that these things will be a problem?

I'll get there early and bring some cones.....

But yes, as Bob said.....traffic doesn't become an issue until later. Most people are entering from the E9th exit....and I lived there for 4+ years and it was always fine in the morning.

 

I'm getting excited for this Saturday! I hope that it will be as big as the last one!
