Puddy tats, been out here in Cali for a month and have seen TWO of your kind. That's ok though, they had no teeth!!
About Time to get Busy -- we start the run on a Thursday evening... GO BUCKEYES!!!! My personal take is we will lose 1-2 during the year, but still have a shot at the Tide in the Championship game, but it is a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong year as we all know, so it should be fun to give each other some sh#t on here My two biggest concerns are the Hurricanes and the game at Wisconsin. Both could be landmines. By the way, after beating us (with what we can only assume were eligible players), does USC still have a football team? LMFAO!!! MB
PSU plays the current #1 and #2 ranked teams this year, if there was ever a year to show up, this is it.. Let's go State! Looking forward to college football as a whole.
Can't wait to beat Penn State!!! I'm actually going to the first game of the year -- South Carolina hosting Southern Miss. Anyone else gonna be there want a taste of some good scotch, let me know!
From the FWIW dept: Preseason bowl predictions for the 2010 college football season (by the New Orleans newspaper) If you care, thier Top 25 Coincidence that the NOLA paper posts a pic of Saban from Bama's Sugar Bowl loss to Utah? I think not... Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some CFB fan I am; I didn't realize there are games tonight until I saw a few ads this evening. The Utah/Pitt game is intriguing and might try to catch part of the USC/Hawaii game. Yikes if you're a Tar Heel fan:http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5520574
Solid opener for my Buckeyes. I know next week is the first real test as the Canes come to town...BT, it should be a barn burner baby!!! Go Buckeyes! MB
Watched the Canes tonight, wouldn't even count it as a real game. Can't wait for next weekend's game!
Most people won't give TCU much respect this year again, especially after the way they bombed in the Fiesta Bowl going down to Boise State 17-10. But consider this. Andy Dalton, the QB, has the best win record of any QB in the nation this year. He passed the school record for passing in his junior year and has his entire senior year to increase the record. He will surpass the records of Sammy Baugh this year (currently has 29 wins as a starting QB in three seasons) and is a pre-season selection for many awards this year. They have seven offensive starters returning and eight defensive starters coming back. Their defense should prove to be pretty formidable this year. We will see how they do in their opener against Oregon State in Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas Saturday. It is being broadcast on ESPN and Game Day will be at the game also. Currently ranked 7th. A lot remains to be seen from them............Go Frogs......
Looking forward to reading what the score for next weekend's tOSU / Miami game will be. Fortunately I will be taking my daughter to a John Mayer concert, so I will only get joy / disappointment when I return at about 1 AM. I won't make a prediction, but I will say this should be our most challenging game of the year. Hopefully, the Ohio State players are assuming that we are weak like we have been the past few years. GO CANES!!! P.S. I can't believe Jax State beat Ole Miss!?!?! Mark May must be boiling right now after a Pitt loss and a decent show by the Domers. BT
Well, the first game went as expected...but the stadium is coming along Image Unavailable, Please Login
