Looks perfect just the way it sits and just the right height.
Love your wheels:) It's a therapy for me as well, it makes me happy:)
Let's hope the 308 ride will wipe out all the negatives permanently.

Sorry to hear about your condition, but glad you have the 308 to cheer you up ;)

What wheels do you have? Are those Compomotives? What sizes are they and what size tires are you running?

    Awesome cars!
I've had my '85 398 GTS for over a year but haven't posted any pics here yet.
Here's one from our honeymoon this week up in Door County WI.
Haven't looked through every single page of this thread, but I'll bet this is the first of a 308 at a drive-in movie theatre

Yes they are 17" Compomotives the tires are yokahoma 235/40 ZR17 90W front & 255/40 ZR 17 94W rear. I feel it gives the car a much more modern look.

sheepskin seat covers - hides the old, cracked, poorly dyed leather and much cooler in the summertime. Someday I may get new hides installed, but for the foreseeable future I'm staying with the covers.

It was! By the end of the double-header outside temps felt like high 50's/low 60's, but between the sheepskin covers, pillows (borrowed from the B&B), and ummmmm body heat cozy is exactly the right word. :)

Best Thoughts for fighting the fight, Kent. I understand that one's mindset is half the battle. With yours, you were half way there even before treatment started!
Your car is gorgeous; enjoy its therapy. Pictures of some of your drives would be great, please.
    Keep us posted!

Kent- good luck with everything. A brisk drive in the 308 sounds like good medicine for the body and soul.

+1 on the car comments. Usually I prefer the visual balance of the shallower US front spoiler, but with your car's red rocker panels and wheels it looks just about perfect. Shave the side markers and ditch the cavalinos and perfection would be reached :)

Someone (Gordon Murrary?) wrote that the best car designs have uneven front/rear overhangs. In your pics the lower front somehow also seems to lengthen the front, like the more recent V8 Ferraris have (see 458).
    Any more pics and/or videos?

    cheers!
    Kurt

I drove mine down from Winnipeg to Minneapolis for the WOI show this weekend, had a blast! Here's a pic of the first fuel stop in "Middle of Nowhere" North Dakota, and one of my interior at the show. 308 handled the 1200 plus mile round trip without incident, loved it. Will post more pics later, maybe check the Minnesota section for Wheels Of Italy pics. Met a bunch of F-chatters there, nice people. Ciao, Dennis

Nice... how is it you manage to keep the shaift gate console snup up to the gauge panel? Practically every 308 I see, the console is sunkin in at the gate.
