In all seriousness, I think you are beginning to get an interweb rally cry for this thing. Just as long as you PM me a shot of some grid girl getting out with a mini skirt on! Wallpaper baby. _J
I saw this car up at the ALMS race at Road America today and thought of your car. Make it an eco happy politically correct Ferrari, then put flowers, fruit and fish all over it. Just kidding.....maybe, although it is more interesting than the just red Risi 430GT!! Tom Tanner/Ferrari Expo 2011-Chicago April 2011 P.S. The NART P4/5 looks nice. Napolis with the car using 430GT parts will Michelotto or any teams such as AF Corse be involved in any capacity with the car? Best of luck, the car is already a winner in my eyes. That NART scheme looks very nice. Less is certainly more sometimes.
We bought an F 430 GT2 car and many spares which will be utilised but the overall engineering and build will be LM Gianetti. Our Race Team will be run by NTechnology. Both of them will be under the direction of Paolo Garella who was head of Special Projects at Pininfarina in charge of Ferrari P 4/5 by Pininfarina.
Wow. I've come a bit late to this thread, so apologies if this has been said before (and I'm sure it has): I just realized that it is somewhat logical what you're doing: You love the Le Mans cars from the sixties, collected some of those, then got Ferrari/Pininfarina to build your Enzo in that style and since the Scuderia is solely focused on F1 and is not officially participating in the top class of endurance racing, you have to fill that void. And you're doing it by building a car in the style of the sixties. Now that I think about it, it makes perfect sense. So the Nuerburgring race is only the stepping stone and proving ground for the ultimate Le Mans ticket? (a merely rhetorical question) All the best in your endevours! Not sure you like this comparison, but to me you're right up there with my other heroes, who push/ed the envelope with their own dollars: Fossett and Branson PS: I love that NART stripe and agree with the previous posters that less is more.
P 4/5 Tooling is being boxed to ship to Lm Gianetti to build P 4/5 C. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Our engineering is coming along. We'll be able to use P 4/5's Doors, Center Section, Wind Screen (Although we'll make Polycarbonate ones for the race) and sills. Nose and Tail will be a little different. Giant Puzzle going together.
The Trick is to sort it so when we're done we can make panels for either car although we already have several spare P 4/5 Bodies in case Murphy comes to visit. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mr Murphy has been known to have a wicked sense of humor at absolutely the worst possible moment. In a blink of the eye everything can change, speaking from experience... CH
Jim, I know one of them is the Dino but what about the rest of the yellow cars behind the plastic-what are they?
MK-IV J6 Fiat Dino Spyder Two more from Pebble came back today. Baja Boot and Lola Boot came with a ton of spares. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
