Recent Engine Out Service

Hi all, near the start of summer I had my engine out service performed by Joshua Orr (coordinated by James Maddux) at Bellevue Lambo, here in Washington State. Joshua did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend him to all 355 owners! He is very knowledgeable about the car and seems to really enjoy working on them. What I like about Joshua is that he was very meticulous/organized every step of the way and very fair with the labor costs; if he spent a little extra time trying to perfect or fine tune something, he would adjust the labor costs for what he felt was fair. Bottom line is… Joshua wants to make sure things are done right and that the customer is happy with the experience.
Joshua was also very fair with all his charges (i.e., with the engine out he only charged me the de minimus incremental labor for changing my clutch - historically, other Ferrari mechanics/shops have quoted the full labor price for a clutch job, with no discount for the engine out). Joshua was fine/encouraged me to purchase and bring in my own parts (OEM from Ricambi and Dave Helms). He was great at keeping me in the loop on progress and was fine with/practically encouraged me to constantly stop by to check things out. I was really happy with the end result... the car runs perfectly. I had almost every conceivable thing/upgrade done at this service and it ended up costing significantly less than what I originally thought it would. On a separate note, I had Joshua install Dave Helm's gold connector kit... one of the best upgrades that I’ve purchased for my car and worth every penny!
I am really grateful for all the great folks… that I’ve dealt with on my first engine out service for this car… who have made it such a great/enjoyable experience… Joshua Orr, James Maddux, Dave Helms and Ricambi America! We’re definitely lucky to have you guys in this community!

I forgot to mention a big thanks to F355Spider for referring me to and highly recommending Josh. As my post may have sounded like an advertisement/promotion for these guys, my motivation is that... I have owned four Ferraris over the last 18 years (308, 328, 355, 355) and utilized 4 dealers and 5 independent mechanics in California and Washington state for services during that time frame. I have to say I was truly impressed with how Josh and Bellevue Lambo treated me as a customer... did a great job and didn't nickel and dime me to death. It truly was a really nice consumer experience as compared to other Ferrari services that I've had. When I have a great experience (independent or dealer), I really like to mention and credit the guys responsible for it.
