Mysterious plug inside glove box???

don't think that's a factory light..... at least not for a 348. all the cars where supposed to come with them.. if they were actualy in the car when purchased is another matter

 

Hey, that kinda looks like the factory F355 hair dryer.....

oops....

 

Here are some pics of my light and tool kit

But I have a hole in the glove for a cigarette type plug but much smaller but my light is regular cig lighter size.

Cool thing about the light if you look at the 2nd picture on the opposite side of the lens, there are small steel pieces sticking out...those are magnets, and quite strong too.

yep, thats the one I have.. I can't remember if I plugged mine in the glovebox outlet.. I'll have to check it. Is it possible the end was changed at some point??

 

I have the same..... Little hole in the glove box, big connector on my emergency light.

Do others have an emergency light with a little connector?
Did Ferrari change the light and forget to change the power hole in the glove box?

 

I'll check mine tomorrow, this is turning out to be a bigger mystery with every post

 

I have never seen a car in North America with a small hole/cig lighter so I'm thinking maybe they made them just for the US/Canada??? Or maybe they had issues with overheating of failure?
