Anyone get sick of the subaru's with their coffee can exhaust sounding like crap and such pulling up and down shifting and wanting to race you on the freeway with cars all along side. I'm in portland and there are alot of them with young kids thinking they smoked you in traffic, even had a audi station wagon wanting to race me in the 360 on a country road following a horse trailer.

A super modified WRX is one serious weapon especially in the right hands.
I had one and Ferraris may leave well alone.

i always just let them go. its not worth the aggro or potential damage. then i comfort myself in the knowledge that at the end of the day, i am the one with the ferrari in the garage, and they are still driving a subaru.

That is why I have my S14 Sylvia with skyline engine making 650hp at the wheels!
I love to put the WRX and the Evos in their place! Behind me!

Being an anesthesiologist at a level 1 trauma center I let them go and take comfort knowing that they will eventually wrap it around a tree and help pay for my Ferrari.

It never ceases to amaze me especially as soon as I get on the Hutch or the Merrit Rt.15 into Conn., or any road with a speed limit past 40MPH
Ricers, Infinitis, BMW 3 series, SUVs (especially the BMW X5s) and the big pickup trucks.
some times it actually gets dangerous when they climb up on the rear.
I just pull over, and let them go by without a side wards glance.

Yeah, letting it go is the best thing to do here. The 360 isn't very fast so any of these younger guys with a modded EVO/STi, etc will pretty much put a beating on the Ferrari.

I normally only give it a quick go if I'm in a significantly faster car, and can shut it down after 4-5 secs of WOT because I'd be buslengths ahead already ;-)

This terrifies my wife. One night she made me take her home because everywhere we went we ran into street racers. Sometimes they are just giving you "props". But it has gotten dangerous at times. Had a white modded BMW about lose it doing a burnout next to me at about 30mph on a very crowded 4 lane road. Almost swerved into oncoming traffic then over corrected and almost hit m, then couldn't stop in time and almost rear ended the person stopped in front of him

I used to own an Evo, they simply can't keep up with the 360 on the highway. I am talking about 200 km/h and above.

The secret is to develop some skills and lure them onto a driver's road...... and send them home with their tail firmly planted between their legs.

a fixed up WRX, those things run 500 HP to the wheels and could probably smoke a stock 430.

Yeah, I've had a few people down here try and race me on the CBR.

Even on that, they blow past me.

Few nights ago, I was redlining every gear, and some tricked out 300ZX flew past me.

    I was speechless.

Here in El Paso, there are a lot of people that enjoy seeing my car and I get thumbs up quite often, as a matter of fact, its almost a given that we will be photographed when we take it out for a spin. What annoys me tremendously is people riding on my blind spot just to be looking at the engine and the fast and furious wanna be's that want to race all the time. My answer to all of these people is " Your car might be faster, but mine is a Ferrari" its childish but you get tired of having people challenge you all the time.

Must be a 360/430 phenomenon. The rice-burners do not try and tangle with my 575M, even if they are faster. Probably because they have no idea how quick a 575M is or, just as likely, even what it is. The 12.5" wide rear wheels might have something to do with it, too.

For me, it is nearly every Mustang I see. Good advice above, just ignore them.

What the rice burners fail to understand is the reason people buy a Ferrari. Rice and Italian are sold to two very different types of people, yet rice lovers have this misconception in their minds that wealthy people are ignorant and think that just because its the most expensive, it must be the fastest, and that they therefore must be put in their place. A 600bhp subaru racing a Ferrari and winning proves nothing. It blows my mind how someone could be so dense as to disregard the fact that if someone capable of owning a Ferrari wanted to, he/she could probably go out and buy sixteen (give or take) of their little rally boxes while they're still desperately trying to afford the monthly payments on their one. Yet they still need to try and prove a point that no Ferrari owner was ever arguing in the first place. In a word, "idiots". I blame the "fast and furious" franchise.
