As many of you know, early this month I totaled my prized 95 I bought from Jerrari in Michigan. I had a great road trip driving it to Dallas where I live and enjoyed the car for a few months before having a bad car accident. Here is a pic for a reminder of the car...

The insurance company settled with me a week ago Friday. I had three weeks to search for a replacement (this was my daily driver). Many I negotiated to reasonable deals but last minute before I was committed to anybody on paper, I saw an ad pop up for this one and within a few hours there was money down on the car and I flew to Lake Forest, Il. and bought the car from Lake Forest Ferrari where I dealt with the single most professional salesman I've encountered. His name was Tyler and he's been with Lake Forest SportsCars for 26+ years. He loves his work and it shows.

I was in and out of there within an hour of arrival. On the way out, he ran back in and comes out with a MINT CONDITION ORIGINAL FERRARI 348 SALES BROCHURE! This book is 16+ years old and it looks to be brand new! What a gift huh?

So I got on the road and headed for Oklahoma City this past Wednesday morning after touring Chicago the day prior. It was a great road trip with beautiful weather. Here are several pics of the car in no particular order.

You'll notice the Scuderia shields are wrong for the car and they will be removed within the next few days. I'll also be adding back my Tubi Exhaust and Test Pipes. I'm looking forward to the FCA D/FW Fall Run, The Italian Car Fest in Denton, and possibly the Cavallino Classic in Palm Beach.

Specs... 1994 348 Spider Black/Tan 1 owner prior to me...original paint, interior, top, a 100 point car w/ 18,500 miles on it after the 1,500 mile road trip to get here.

Hope you all enjoy the pics!

Great choice of dealer, a nice replacement as most would prefer black tan especially if you live in Texas.

    Enjoy

Great pictures Tony. Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering why the sheilds were by the Pininfarina badge when I saw it yesterday.

Congrats Tony, good to see you are back in the game.

By the way, I noticed in one of your pics the passenger seat belt warning light was on - you must of been so excited that you forgot to buckle the passenger seat belt to turn that light off :)

Congratulations Tony - looks like a decent car.
Just one advice: put the shields in the correct place and the car will look perfect.

Congratulations on getting back in the saddle, Tony. :D

As others have said... remove (or relocate) those shields and do be more careful with this one. ;) :)

    All the best,
    Andrew.
