Thanks Hans. I do love the Lusso's. Pretty much all of them. 4383GT is a beautiful car (1:1) but the BBR version doesnt seem quite right. Is it just me? Might be. But the nose looks a little too big compared to the rest of the car. Or the 1:1 version. I have Paolo Tron's -4385GT - light blue with bumpers, RGM's Maroon 250 GT Lusso and hope to get my hands on 4335GT (silver) soon... I did have Paolo Tron's -4385GT red without bumpers at one point but sold it.... Still regret that but oh well. I still have the light blue version....
I also have the blue 250 speciale from Tron. Piranha made one more recently in white-metal. Paolo Tron and his Milano43 shop were phenomenal at the time. In the 1980's and early 1990's the TSSK mailorder-catalogue of Milano43 was the best way of ordering handbuilts internationally. I agree on 4383gt.. Its an odd car. The same for the Daytona prototype, a daytona with a 275GTB nose... The classics are my favourite BBR's. Rainer Goetske of RGM has some fantastic new Ferrari's planned for this year... Are you familiar with the miniwerksforum? Its recently been overhauled. Hans Image Unavailable, Please Login
You have quite a beautiful collection Hans. I am very familiar with Mike at Miniwerks. I have ordered from him a few times before. I great guy and great service!! Plus, he gets some really impressive models from private collections as well as current model builders! I'm looking forward to the new RGM models planned out this year. I just bought Rainer's (RGM\BBR) 250 GT Boano - Black with Caramel top (Ltd Ed. 10 pieces). Mine is #6\10.. I will post some pics up soon. I have a few others that i just purchased recently that are pretty rare. Two of them are "Old School" long sold out- MR Collection - 1960 400SA and 1961 400 SA... James

The Boano is a good choice! Old school handbuilts are my favourites! AMR and other old whitemetal kits are becoming very popular again.
do you still have any of these models and if so could you please contact me at [email protected] with some price you want for them
Anyone in the market for a Brianza 1:14 365 GT4/BB? I stumbled across one for sale while I was searching for something else.
The fire truck was a 1st of april joke by mr. Ruf of AMR. The only AMR ever produced in resin, prepainted red, only available as a kit. 160 kits were made. This one is built by Lex Rijsdijk. There are still people that believe this car existed... but in reality only in the mind of mr. Ruf. Nowadays its very rare, and impossible to find. Its not the best looking Ferrari, but very special and rare. The Nart Spiders are quite special too. The burgundy colored spider is made by HE14, the red one is a Carlo Brianza. The bodies are quite similar, suposedly the rumor is that a Brianza was copied by HE14, but in detail they are totally different. Engine, detailing, interior, wheels... Its nice to see them side by side.. Same subject, same builddate, same techniques different builders.. Hans Hans
This is a 1/6 scale Lauda car, plastic, by Polistil for a liquor company. A bottle of their liquor sat in the car's interior. I have the model, the liquor is gone. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw one of these for sale, still complete, many years ago in a little model shop in Switzerland. They were made for Toschi and the bottle, which sat in the cockpit, contained bottles of cherries and / or liqueur depending on where they were sold. Unfortunately the day that I was there was some sort of holiday and that particular shop was closed.
Yes, you are exactly correct. On the bottom it says Tosche by Polistil. I have seen only one other, it is in the showroom of Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale.
Did you know that they also did Ascari's F500 in cast aluminum back in 1953? Picture below. Second picture shows the arrangement of the bottles under the cockpit of the 312 model. The model came with an insert for the cockpit to display the car when the bottles had been removed. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
You are making this difficult for me. I was thinking about selling my model. Now you make it difficult.
Send it to me for safe keeping. If you miss it terribly I'll send it back immediately. If you find you are not missing it so much we'll see how you do over the next few years. Eventually you will probably forget you ever had it. I am happy to do this for you at no cost.
