I have Goth's twin valve exhaust on my 95 F355 for the last month. The last few weeks I have been able to drive the car on the street and highway. My road has been torn up for 2 months so I was unable to drive the car until lately.

    Quality and ease of installation:
The quality is first rate. The person who helped me with the install is a master welder and machinist and he was impressed with the quaility of materials and welds. I have had alot of cars and they were all modified with aftermarket parts. All fell short in that they had to be modified to fit, instructions were incomplete etc. This kit had EVERYTHING needed to install. It has all the drill bits, sanders etc. A jig and drill guide was included so all the holes could be made with precision. The muffler and pipes had ample adjustment to get alignment perfect.Since the exhaust comes throught the bumper. alignment was crucial. Anybody with a modest mechanical ability could install this system.

    Sound:
I had a Tubi a few years ago and hated it. I was afraid Goth's exhaust would be too loud for my tastes and be a pain on the highway. I love the way this exhaust sounds. It is much louder below 2800rpm but not obnoxious. Above 3000rpm it mellows out and easy to drive city streets by just keeping in a lower gear. On the highway no resonance and easy to listen to radio or have a conversation. When you back off the throttle there is a slight burble of the exhaust which sounds great. At idle it sounds like the Scuderia in that you can hear the valve slightly rattle. At full throttle it has the F1 sound that the Capristo dual valve looses. The sound coming from the large pipes through the bumper screams high performance. There are some videos on You Tube and I promise to get more at full throttle this weekend.

    Performance:
Huge increase in performance. Car revs much quicker, mid range is really much better, off idle is much improved. Off idle it would have a flat spot around 3500rpm and that is gone. Throttle response is instant. Car is smoother and some of that F355 engine vibration that you feel at idle and between 3500-4500rpm is reduced. My mechanic drove the car and he was impressed with the difference in throttle response. He has had many F355s in his shop so he is familiar with the series. I know seat of the pants is not always reliable, but this is not one of those upgrades that you maybe can feel a difference. The difference is obvious in all rpms, the car just pulls so much harder. I had Enginefixer rebuild my enigne and port the heads and intake and I think this exhaust is what really makes those improvements come to life. I have a appointment in mid September to have the car dynoed so we will see what results we get.

You guys freaking rock :D!! This 2.7 system was an all new design. The goal was to gain as much RWHP as possible while retaining as much of the 355s F1 sound as possible :). I am grateful to F355Bob for his patience during its development. I too am looking forward to more sound clips and just as importantly dyno results ;)

I am working on a 5.2 version of this same system. My first 'bypass delete' 5.2 system gained over 18 RWHP with full 'flow through' cats. On this new 2.7 twin bypass design, I am anticipating well over 20 RWHP ..................
