I know I should ask this question in may rather than September, but I can't take it anymore.

My A/C blows just enough cool air to keep me from a complete sweat, but it certainly isn't cool like my Porsche. Are there any suggestions as to what I could do to improve my situation?
I'm not really worried about cost, I would spend some coin to have a comfortable drive in the summer months. Matter of fact it's bad enough that I usually don't drive it 4 months out of the year, and I've had enough of that.

Any help appreciated, by the way I get the freon or whatever the crap is they put in there filled up every year. Also the air that blows is fairly cool, it just doesn't reach me.

If you need to get it filled every year then you have a leak that needs to be repaired. That's the starting point anyway.

    Hey, Todd.
I just did a rebuilt a/c compressor on a 355 earlier this summer. Made a world of difference.
Blowing out 38 degrees at the vent openings.

I have another 355 in the shop now that wasn't cooling right, they'd been charging the a/c with the little cans of freon. It was overcharged by like 1 full lb. of freon and 4 oz too much oil. It's important to evacuate the system correctly and to recharge it to specs.
That car also has the heater control valve motor that is bad, the valve was stuck open allowing hot coolant to flow through the heater core.

That would be the first thing I'd check on your car, since you live where it's warm, you probably never use the heater, but the valve still could be stuck partially open.

If you have cold a/c at start up and then it diminishes as the temp gauge goes up, I'd look at the valve for proper operation.

the temperature of the ac really isnt the problem, its cold enough, its just the weakness of the fan to get the cool air to my body.

if i could ride on the dash, i suppose i would be ok! but i think its more of a blower problem than coldness problem.

Saying that it blows fairly cool is a bit vague. A temperature measurement needs to be made. Probably just inside of one of the center vents. And again, if you have to charge it somewhat each year you have a leak.

Have you confirmed your recirculation flap is closed when it should be?

Have you confirmed your air flap for the dash and footwells is operating?

Car A/C's work better when the vehicle is in motion.
