Amazing does even begin to describe it.

There are days which seem perfect this morning for me was pretty close to perfect. Yesterday saw my first 458 on the road and its staggeringly beautiful, head to the Ferrari dealer for the usual morning coffee hoping to see a 458.

I had barely been there 10 min and a 458 arrived, my word that shape and sound of that car is truly special, if seeing and hearing that car doesnt move then you dont have petrol in your veins. (the 458 was launched here this week), 10 minutes later another 458 arrived and well the site from the coffee bar surely could get any better! The conversation was animated, here we were all behaving like kids, me sharing the enthusiasm with the owners of their new toys.

Then another 458 arrived, this one being black and now there were 3 parked nose to tail, traffic was starting to build up oustide the dealership as the public admired what to me is the most beautiful V8 Ferrari since the 355. Engines were revved and goosebumps were the result for all of us.

Surely this couldnt get better, it sure did a 599 GTO turned up and wow wow and wow again, approaching this car is truly something special, I was all of 5 months old when the 288 GTO so being around to feel the hype of a new GTO has been amazing. There must have been 20 of us around the cars, the fact I dont have a Ferrari was meaningless, we were all passionate Ferrari fans.

Of course the fun was when everyone left, one by one each guy left and the road is fairly long and the v8 in the 458 sounds fantastic, the V12 in the GTO, well 2 hours later just thinking about it gives me goosebumps!

What a morning, sat in the GTO and the sports seats are even more comfortable than the standard 599 seats!

I do indeed, needed to do some editing to remove the trade plate number. Sadly the sun was in sight but would agree the black does look good.

All of the ones already here were modified at the factory already. Its a pretty long standing arrangement where some of us meet at the dealer for a morning of banter and sometimes we end up watching qualifying there too.
