One thing to keep in mind. The wing wouldn't look like silver paint it would look like polished aluminium like the Ferrari F1 wings of the period.

I like this one. Keep it simple and pure like racers from the '60s.

The problem may be vibration as it's supported only on one end. We're testing that out.

I like the Testarossa looking mirror, but then again I am a child of the 80's, not the 60's. ;)

Will the decision on mirror design have an effect on aero design on the rest of the car? If not could you just produce both #1 & #2 and see which is better from standpoint of vibration and forward blind-spot?

+1 for brand recognition - P4/5 is your "brand"!

Mirror no. 1 - original and best aero; very much F1 sidepod fence inspired.

Have your team study f1 mirrors maybe. The pagani zonda has some cool ones too.

Mirror 1 looks trick and does the trick (cool when works out like that!). Dig the painted top w/nart stripe, too ...

I like the look of mirror #4 the best, but would go with whichever one offered best aerodynamics and least vibration.

    I'm with Wax. :)

If you have to run ballast, is it permitted for it to be moveable? You could affix the ballast to rails underneath the car (but above the under tray) and when going around a left-hand corner, use servos to send the ballast to the left - and vice versa. You could also have some running fore and aft to send ballast to the front or rear of the car to try to keep the weight distribution a little more level.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Ok. Where would you put it? Evenly distributed on the corners, as close to the centre of the car as possible, or would you put it in locations to try to even out the weight distribution?

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Another child of the 80's here, I vote for the Testarossa-style mirrors.

    Cheers,
    Andy

#1 mirrors look aggressive/awesome, almost like a person flexing their bicep

I like the 4th one the best... the others are a little goofy looking.
