Wow, what a game and a healthy dose of emotion given that this year is the 40th anniversary of the Marshall plane crash.

That was the biggest choke/meltdown I have seen in 10 years.

Up by 15 points with 8 minutes to go with the ball on the WVU 4 yard line.....

    Fumble

Give up a 96 yard drive for a TD.

    3-and-out

Punt - down it on the WVU 4

Give up ANOTHER 96 yard drive for a TD

Give up a 2 point conversion.

    Can't even discuss OT.

Marshall looked better than they did against us, but they still are MASSIVE chokers.

    Go Buckeyes!

I just heard that Northwestern beat Vandy last week, is that true? Belay your need to answer that, I just checked and it is true.

Finally Florida is looking like we should. Corrected the bad snaps from a week ago, Brantley has been on point all afternoon, our defense is looking very solid, and just like the past few years no one can catch Jeff Demps. Darkhorse Heisman candidate if he keeps this up.

Welcome to the SEC, South Florida :D

It's Great To Be A Florida Gator!!!

My Buckeyes looked like crap today...if we play like that against Bama they will house us.

We'll take the win, but the best play of the game was Tressel kneeling on it to not run up the score at the end of the game.

    Sorry BT, maybe next year.

    Go Buckeyes.

We ended up on the bad end of the Rice game by 1 point. 0-2.

So far I'm not doing bad with the prediction.

An awesome showing all around for the four top teams of the ACC. Miami has a terrible showing with all the turnovers and weak defense. FSU gets rolled by Oklahoma. GT gets beat by Kansas. VT gets beat by the mighty JMU! Yikes. The best assembly of mediocre teams ever this year for the ACC it appears.

I'm glad I spent the day with my daughter at the John Mayer concert instead of watching my favorite team have one of their classic underachieving performances!

As far as the "other" conferences go... Big Least still the weakest, Big 12 looking pretty good with Nebraska, Texas, and Oklahoma, Pac 10 not much better than the ACC, SEC not as strong as it has been in the past several years, and the Big 10 with only Wisconsin and tOSU as the only strong teams. I'd like to see a Big 10 / Big 12 title matchup, but Boise or TCU has a good chance of finding themselves there this year.

    (still) GO CANES!!!

Thanks man, but that game as a whole was a mess. You guys had 4 picks...missed FG, and dropped TD passes...we had two special teams disasters run back for TD's, a missed FG, and plenty of bad play by our supposed Heisman QB...I think that will land with a guy from that team from up North (can't get myself to say the team name....Muck Fichigan)

That Virginia Tech loss sure took the wind out of the Bronco fans in Boise. Guess BSU just need to keep playing their game.

You know I am a huge TCU fan but I am kinda holding my breath. While all the indicators such as number of returning starters on both offense and defense, quality of the QB, depth of talent and such things point to a great season I am just holding back. Andy Dalton has three rushing TD's in his first two games and they have outscored their opponents by an average of over 30 points a game. Statistics are very strongly slanted in TCU's favor and they look pretty good but there are still some areas of concern.

Jerry Hughes, the all-american, is gone and there is a good sized hole on his side of the line on defense. However, his replacement did record two sacks last week against an outclassed Tennessee Tech. And they did hold Oregon State to only 21 points in the opening week.

In their last 17 games against BCS automatic qualifying conferences TCU is now 14-3, including 5-2 against Big 12 teams and 4-0 against Pac 10.

I guess we will wait and see how things pan out as the season progresses. They must get past Baylor this week and then a much rejuvenated SMU the next. They must take each week on its own merit. I believe that is how Gary Patterson is directing them and they do seem to respond well to him.........

Ratings flawed? No can't be. I mean gosh, look at Alabama State. They are 2-0 and ranked 214 positions below Alabama. Ranked well below many teams who are 0-2. Where is the parity here??? They do have the same record, right???

But wait, now I see. TCU is ranked #8 in this poll??? I agree, obviously flawed.....

Today at 3:30 central. TCU vs Baylor. TCU a 21 point favorite. We will have to wait and see. Baylor defense has held last two opponents to 9 points total while scoring 69. The QB is pretty good and is healthy. TCU held last two to 24 points (21 by Oregon State) and scored 92. Should be a pretty good game. Patterson has the Frogs really fired up and it is Family Weekend at TCU so the game is sold out. AND I HAVE TO WORK......;.;.;;.Ya'll enjoy it.....

My prediction. TCU 34, Baylor 14. That will miss the spread by 1 point........

Everytime I start to get depressed watching the shambles Les has made ofthe LSU offense I just think about Ole Piss's 2010 season and I get a instant smile on my face.

It's really hard to tell when we keep losing starters to career-ending injuries. 3 games in and we're on our third string QB and center. Broken legs, hips, feet, torn acls -- you name it, it's happened. I think we've now lost 6-7 starters.

Oh yeah -- we lost Saturday to Army. 0-3

I will trade you LSU's 1st string QB for your 3rd string QB sight unseen and to sweeten the deal you can take the head coach too
