Sebastian Vettel lost ground in Sunday's Italian Grand Prix not because of an engine as first suspected, but because of a brake binding issue. http://bit.ly/caAYxv

Interesting. My heart stopped when he said engine trouble.

When it happened everyone was thinking "Team Orders".

That was the first thing our unkind TV commentators mentioned: "some team orders are going on at Red Bull". Mostly because after an initial alert, Vettel was able to carry on ...

Because Vettel worked so hard to come out in front of Webber. If the team wanted SV behind one of the wheel nuts would have taken an extra second or two...

Claiming an engine issue to try to fool the FIA would be foolish. With essentially every engine parameter measured, it would be quickly discovered on review...

Only if they cared to look.
After the recent unpleasantness no one's looking to revisit the issue. In fact I'll be amazed if the issue of team orders is raised again before they act to rescind the ban.
