Hmm, IMO the tips don't look proper. Was it possible to use the 430 muffler box and a 360 style tip, whether it be stock/tubi, etc?

It's difficult to discern the sound as well since it distorts in the video when rev'ing.

That said, I applaud the idea and effort fitting it.

yer agreed re tips, unfortunatly its impossible to use the standard tips due to the way they all connect into the cats, its completely different design on the standard box. My plan is if i can find some to eventually switch them to stradale tips which fit straight onto the muffler (being exactly the same part)

I can tell it sounds just like a F430, but wondering why you chose the 430 exhaust system? and not the Capristo nor the Tubi.

I think you should ask your Mechanic to re-fit the exhaust tip more properly, since there was cutting and weilding involved.

I like the "staggered" look. Nicely done (being unique).

the stradale muffler is the same as a 430.only the tips are different.Ferrari sells the stradale exhaust kit with new ecus for less than a tubi.my friend had it installed on his 04 coupe and it sounds the same as my stradale but is actually quicker.why mess with cutting and welding when you could get it from the factory with ecus.i think he only paid @ $5500 installed at the dealer.

    ? You sure ?

    Ecu's are about $2525 - $2563 "each" (car needs 2). New Ecu's wouldn't necessarily be needed anyways.

Plus, list on the muffler alone is $2031, and tips (R and L) go for anywhere from $1800 - $3074 each.

    Plus, you need 3 brackets, $267, $54, $56.

    Plus labor (at the dealer!).

Could you post your friends invoice please? I have a hard time believing what you wrote.

I had a chance to drive the 360 Spider with CS exhaust (directly from the factory, the owner didn't order it, mistake on production line? Or simply part bin hunting for one of the last 360 off the production line). It sounded exactly like the CS I owned at that time but more thrilling as it was an open top. The Spider wasn't quicker in any sense (may be no ECU upgrade) and it was a heavier car than the CS anyway. But if you don't like the pitch of the Tubi or Capistro, then CS's exhaust with that bassy tone is perfect!!!

Pong- The sport exhaust was a factory option late in production and was the Stradale exhaust.

Incidentally, there is a Ferrari tool for centering the tailpipes when R&Ring the exhaust system. It looks like a plastic plug that fits in the opening with tailpipe size holes in the center.

I will ask my friend for the invoice and post it im not sure of the exact price but 5500 is pretty close.he had it done at Ferrari of Orange county last year its a kit that Ferrari sells for 04-05 360s.but i think it will work on all 360s except 99.it came with the "racing exhaust", all of the hardware and two upgraded motronic ecus.I think it only is for north America cars with pre cat manifolds or ones like them.

I know what you are saying re the strad upgrade from ferrari but thats still one hell of a lot more than I paid for the F430 system ... i got mine all in with brackets bolts the lot for $450 then spentanother $100 on the welding !
