    Can you believe that my son lost the chip before he downloaded the pics to his computer?!?!? I had great shots of the Ford GT, and of a 300SL original with me sitting in it (the latter were taken at a friend's warehouse after C and C). Aaaarrrgh!

    Not sure. It's been over a month since I've been to Katie's. Last I heard, they would continue to do this until the first snow or was it Thanksgiving? :) I would assume that it's still on.

    But if you don't feel like getting up so early and would like to sleep in a little longer, you should come out to the Cars and Coffee in Fairlakes, VA. Not as many cars as Great Falls, but a GREAT bunch of car guys!! See the other thread for details!

    Is this still happening at 7:30 in the morning, or a little later now? Would like to make it one of these days. Small kids make it hard to hit the road at 7AM.

    Yes. The other stores there open at 9 a.m. on Saturday mornings, so most car folks leave by 9:15 or so. Arriving around 7:30 a.m. works well.

    Bring coats, gloves, and hats - it is chilly out there at that time of the morning.

    Don't mind the cold at all. I'll golf all winter. But getting the kids to let me go, wanting to let them go, that early on Saturday is a tall order.

    It was a bit cold this am, but good to see some of the more hardcore folks. At least there were no bugs. I draw the line at snow.

    ill be up in DC area (logans circle) towards the end of jan through the middle of march. will there be any meets during jan/feb? id love to make it out and see the great variety of cars that shows up, even if ive got to wake up extra early to get there!

    Hard to say - no one is really "in charge" of these events. If it is a clear day even if it is cold I think there will be some hardcore folks who come out for a cup of coffee. It will be a far cry from the summer Saturday's when 200+ cars attend.
