Without getting into details and the disagreements between Ricambi & FoS, the problem was that the 360 pump Daniel sent FoS did not work. And, to further my trust and honesty with Mark @ FoS, most people would believe that the dealers would provide a simple fix for this--they would simply sell you a new part. Mark didn't even bring that up. Conversely, he told me he was going to open the part up and see if it could be fixed. He opened it and found that when it was manufactured the person who put it together didn't set the shaft that connects the pump to the motor correctly; thus, the pump turned on but couldn't drive the motor because the shaft wasn't allowing it to. So, he fixed it within a few minutes, and the car should be put back together and ready for a test drive within a few hours--all in time for me to take delivery Thursday. Guys, Mark @ FoS is nothing like most stereotypical dealers. He could have simply said, "This part is defective and you have to buy a new one from me, but he didn't. I can't speak highly enough of his character and I look forward to posting the final results with pics that he has taken. Big big scare this morning....but Mark made the right decision and I am relieved. Thank you, Mark @ FoS!
Just got an email from Mark @ FoS... Runs great, top works great and even the clutch engagement is better with the new pump.
