Godzilla: Final Wars I caught it on Netflix the other night, great to see the rest of the world get trashed by giant monsters instead of Japan, Rodan trashing NYC had me laughing. The action sequences reminded me of Robert Rodriguez film meets the Wachowski bros. & the monster scenes weren't that bad either. The main problem is this film dragged on way too long & bounced from the sub-plot to the main story throughout the film.
I'm now all caught up on seasons 1 through 6 of The Office and thanks to Hulu I watched season 7s episodes.
I liked the movie and my wife loves it. However, yeah, everything was so elaborately overdone in hipster fashion that is was ridiculous at times. Especially his apartment and wardrobe. I can't imagine how much time they spent digging up and arranging vintage everything, meticulously arranged to look carelessly casual. this is what I thought of Image Unavailable, Please Login
Netflix it. Worth watching, if only for the laughable technology we (or at least I and others my age) thought was soo uber kool back then- and which I cringe at now! Oliver Stone makes a Hitchcock-like cameo, too.
Woody Allen's new film, 'You Will Meet A Tall Dark Strange' It was excellent. Not the typical Woody Allen film. 9/10
Wall St was sort of a mess. WAY too complicated for 95% of public, at least Commies Oliver Stone & George Soros didnt blame W every 2 minutes for the meltdown
North Face. About the competition to be the first to climb the North Face of the Eiger. Takes place in 1936. http://www.northfacethemovie.com/
saw it tonite.... good movie, I liked it; but it was too much like Vicki Christina Barcelona. same annoying voiceover, same excessively bright, grainy picture, similar plot. I do like how both (maybe most of Woody Allen's films) seem to be written on Venn diagrams, where the plot crosses over/intersects itself often.
"There will be blood" yeah - I'm LATE Just finished it.... Great movie - when it all comes together in the bowling alley scene.... Wow! Never saw it coming. Jedi
2007 called...they want their movie back great movie. that scene in the bowling alley was awesome. Daniel Day Lewis plays a great lunatic.
