I finaly decided to install a Tubi exhaust on my 355, what a sound, my question is: the little booming I hear on, is that normal? I actualy have no problem with that sound but was just wondering.

the tubi on my testarossa had a boom at around 2500-3k rpm. after about 3.5k the boom disappears. capristo L3 does the same thing on a 355.

The boominess on the 355 is around 3600 t0 4000rpm. They dont always do it. It also depends on the surroundings. I dont mind it because it only happens for a second or so while on my way to 9000 rpm.

That is normal. Take off your catalytic converters and install test pipes=pure bliss! You even get flames out of the exhaust pipes when you shift at high RPM's. :)

Fabspeed supposedly has an O2 simulator that you plug inline with the O2 harness (I assume) that gives the ECU the dummy voltage reading that it needs to keep the CEL from lighting up. Has anyone used this?

I get the boominess/resonace with the Tubi on my 355 (5.2) and the cats. are off with test pipes installed. It doesn't last for too long but it can be annoying and gives the car a "cheap" sound for that little rpm "window."
